Diagnostic processing takes place in your browser.
This version has no analytics, advertising scripts, remote fonts or third-party diagnostic services. Camera and microphone streams and live input events are not uploaded by the application.
The server receives ordinary requests for pages and assets and may retain access logs according to the hosting configuration. This application cannot control hosting-provider logs.
Theme and keyboard preferences, saved result history (up to 100 entries), and manually saved system snapshots use localStorage. Full Device Check also automatically saves progress and your confirmations in localStorage so you can resume it. Keyboard Test temporarily saves observed key codes and press statistics in sessionStorage for the current tab. These records stay in the browser and are not uploaded. Use Clear history in a test, Clear results in Full Device Check, or Delete saved diagnostic results below. Browser site-data controls can remove all local data.
A service worker caches application assets and up to 100 visited pages for offline use. Choosing Copy report or Export JSON creates a report only when you request it. Reports can also include browser and operating-system hints, display properties, test observations and your confirmations; review exported JSON before sharing it.
Camera and microphone access begins after Start and a browser permission decision. Stop, hiding the page or leaving it releases the streams. Hardware device selection is optional; browser permission controls manage any remembered grants.
Saved data controls
Deletes saved result history, Full Device Check progress, saved system snapshot and temporary keyboard session. Theme and keyboard preferences remain. Downloaded JSON files and browser permissions are unaffected.
