Ready

Camera video stays in this tab. No upload. Silent recording; the microphone is never requested.

Pre-call check: choose a camera, start preview, check framing and light, then stop. No automatic hardware diagnosis.

Primary camera

Mirror affects preview only. Snapshots and recordings keep the natural delivered image.

Delivered resolution—
Aspect ratio—
Configured frame rate—
Measured rendered FPS—
FPS method—
Relative scene luma—
Scene exposure—
Relative sharpness—
Possible image noise—

Delivered resolution and configured FPS describe the negotiated browser stream, not native sensor specifications. Rendered FPS is browser-observed; page load, light and scheduling affect it.

Exposure, sharpness and noise depend on the scene, motion, lighting, scaling and browser processing. Keep the camera and scene still for noise comparison; these are not lens or sensor laboratory measurements.

Browser capture modes

Probe requests five exact stream sizes in sequence. Browser resizing or cropping is possible. Results do not establish native sensor modes. Capture stops when the probe ends.

Side-by-side cameras

Each camera has independent stream metrics. Concurrent capture may be unavailable, especially on mobile. Compare the same stationary scene; differences are not automatic hardware faults.

Measured FPS counts frames presented to the page. Configured frame rate is the track setting; these values can differ.

How it works

Use the interactive panel above and watch the live measurements. Results depend on events and capabilities exposed by your browser.

Runs in your browser

Core tests are processed locally in your browser. Camera and microphone streams are not intentionally uploaded by Testvexa.

FAQ

Does this test upload my input?

Core interaction is processed in your browser. Testvexa does not intentionally upload camera or microphone streams.

Can browser limitations affect the result?

Yes. Browsers expose different hardware APIs, so unsupported access is not the same as faulty hardware.
